The user held Music group continues to grow from strength to strength after another succesful concert in May 2008. The Classic Fundraising Concert in South Wimbledon on 3rd may raised over £400 as well as very good music.

Merton Mind has 6 places in the 10K London run on Sunday 6th July 2008 and 6 people have volunteered to participate to raise funds. We hope to raise as much as we can to go towards the rent of the Fair Green Centre, which allow the music group, women's group, several user groups and a carers group  and anything else that is developed, to continue. Merton MIND will be present at the Mitcham Carnival as usual. Everybody has a great time there and we are trying to develop something a bit different this year and we would love to see you there!. Mitcham Carnival is on 14th June 2008.

The Christmas fayre will be held on Saturday 22nd November 08 from 10.30 am - 1.30pm at St Mark's Church Hall, St Mark's Road, Mitcham. Merton MIND's Christmas fayre is more than just a fayre. It is an opportunity for friends of Merton MIND, staff and service users to get together once a year and have a good time as well as raising some money. There are always a variety of activities such as music, art, Santa's grotto as well as the usual stalls.
